Experts say the price of glass is on the rise as global supply chain issues continue throughout the world, and this summer you may see the price of your favorite glass beverage increase due to a current glass shortage.
“There has been a glass shortage for some time actually,” said CEO of the global supply company Resilinc, Bindiya Vakil. “It’s driven a lot by some of the raw materials that go within.”
According to Vakil, there are many contributing factors to the glass shortage.
